Job Role: Mechanical CAD Technician - Water Sector.
Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 + Benefits.
Location: Bradford - Hybrid working
Our client is a reputable Design and Build Contractor in the UK Water sector who is looking to expand their existing team to bring on board a CAD Technician who is Mechanically biased.
About the Role:
The CAD Technician will be reporting to the CAD Team Leader and will be responsible for the creation of Computer Aided Design models and drawings for a variety of Clean and Wastewater projects. Will also be responsible for preparing Mechanical equipment and piping layout drawings using 2D AutoCAD, working alongside a team of multidisciplinary Design Engineers to ensure that the design is completed in accordance with the specification.
About you:
- Competent user of 2D AutoCAD
- Competent user of Microsoft Office Packages
- A background in Mechanical CAD Design - pipework, pumps, valves etc.
- Having knowledge of the UK Water or Wastewater sector would be a strong advantage but is not essential for the role should your experience be from a Process Plant background.
