Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer based in Brighouse to recruit an Electrical Engineer.

Salary – upto £35,000

Hours: Days only - 8am-4pm or 9am -5pm + + on call rota

Our client is looking for a passionate Electrical Engineer who is keen to make a significant impact in a dynamic and innovative environment. You will become an integral part of the team taking ownership of the maintenance and optimisation of electrical systems across the extensive facilities estate and cutting-edge manufacturing and print equipment.

Due to the nature of the role, our client is looking for an Electrical Engineer who is a natural people person, comfortable dealing with technical experts and non-experts, exceptional customer service skill, tenacious and resilient problem solver

Duties of the Electrical Engineer will include:

  • Manage all aspects of electrical maintenance, issue resolution and investments across our facilities and equipment from installation, reporting and upgrade requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly
  • Action a range of building management and requirements including small building works, minor repairs and maintenance light activities such as office moves, painting, plumbing etc. 
  • Manage all audit, reporting and compliance requirements associated with your role
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure their requirements are captured and managed in line with SLA’s
  • Proactively communicate with colleagues and 3rd parties to deliver the highest level of service delivery
  • Establish and enforce construction, manufacturing, and installation standards.
  • System maintenance, inspections, and upgrades, in addition to manage any associated contractors or 3rd parties as when required
  • Manage associated budgets, SLA’s and KPI’s associated

We would like to speak with Electrical Engineers who have the following:

  • 18th edition certificate or qualified apprentice training electrician
  • Electrical fault finding and resolution experience
  • Experience of leading a team, directly or indirectly,
  • Health & safety training, awareness (Iosh/Nebosh) and operational understanding, including risk assessments
  • Comfortable working across two sites and being included in an on call rota
