Excellent progression opportunity for a CNC Sliding Head Machinist to work for a growing organisation who can offer development into a supervisory role long term. We seek someone who has experience of programming and operating Citizen Sliding Head Machines using Fanuc, who has worked in a precision engineering environment previously.
As the CNC Sliding Head Machinist, you will be responsible for:
- Programming, setting and operating machinery including a Citizen, sliding head CNC
- Producing high quality parts for special purpose machinery
- Overcoming production issues and working to deadlines
- Mechanical fitting when required
- Quality checking your own work
- Basic machine maintenance
As the CNC Sliding Head Machinist you will:
- Have previous experience of using a CNC sliding head machine ideally Citizen, however, will consider other machines
- Be familiar with programming FANUC control systems
- Be able to read, interpret and work to engineering drawings
- Be self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team

- 8am - 3.30pm Friday
- Overtime available
