Job Overview:

We are looking for an Hardware Engineer to become part of my clients growing team.

The ideal candidate should be adept at diagnosing and repairing PCs, laptops, and gaming systems, with strong expertise in high-performance gaming components and configurations.

As a Hardware Engineer, you will deliver technical support at various locations across the South of the UK, providing timely and effective solutions for a wide array of hardware and software challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and upgrade a range of devices, including PCs, laptops, gaming systems, and custom-built setups.
  • Perform software installations, troubleshoot operating systems, remove malware, and recover data.
  • Configure and fine-tune high-performance gaming systems and components, including liquid cooling setups, overclocking, and gaming accessories.
  • Install and update gaming software, drivers, and system patches.
  • Communicate technical issues and repairs clearly and professionally, ensuring that complex details are easily understood by clients.
  • Complete service calls in a timely manner and follow up on any additional technical needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a PC engineer, field technician, or similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of high-end gaming systems, hardware components, and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with custom PC builds, gaming rigs, and overclocking procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple onsite calls per day.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to visit client locations.
