Working Hours: Monday – Friday 07.15 to 15.45 or 07.30 to 16.00, with weekend work when required.

We are recruiting on behalf of Our reputable furniture client who is a growing, family owned company, due to continued growth they are now seeking an experienced Manager for the parts & returns team.  As the  Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the parts and returns department. You will be responsible for leading the team and improving the processes.

 

Main Responsibilities of the Parts & Returns Manager      

  • Manage and organise the parts and returns department and lead the team.
  • Working with the warehouse management team and wider team to achieve company goals.
  • Ability to implement new processes and improve the current ones.
  • Develop policies to regulate performance.
  • Report on the effectiveness of the department.
  • Establish proactive QC processes.
  • Full understanding of regulatory compliance and legal requirements

Experience and Skills required

  • Must have previous management experience
  • Must have previous experience in a parts related environment
  • Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively, setting clear goals and expectations.
  • Capable of making sound decisions, quickly and often under pressure.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, comfortable in meetings with peers and senior management.
  • Able to identify any potential conflict, mediate and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Positive & proactive with a can do attitude with the ability to adapt to the needs of a growing business
  • Advanced attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel & reporting skills
  • Ensures a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and an engaged team.
