Are you seeking a senior commercial finance role for your next career move?This is a new and exciting opportunity as the Head of Commercial Finance for a prominent UK brand with a presence both in the UK and overseas!You will report directly to the CFO, overseeing a team of 5 within a dynamic and fast paced commercial finance department.The ideal candidate must be fully qualified with a min of 5 years PQE and robust accounting expertise and experience of managing substantial data volumes. You will be a true team leader, with the determination and vision to achieve both your personal and the business objectives. Manage the budgeting and forecasting process with ownership for delivery of the full P&L and Balance Sheet
Manage daily/weekly/monthly KPI reporting
Responsible for the completion of the month-end close, covering full P&L & Balance Sheet with thorough knowledge, control and management of the processes
Review Balance Sheet reconciliations, analyse results, investigate and correct imbalances
Manage a team of 4, ensuring all reporting is delivered accurately, on time and in an appropriate format
Have a forensic understanding of the Commercial operation and champion the brand
Business partner through interpretation of performance and aid commercial decision making across the business/ Group
Ownership of marketing spend through clear reporting, ensuring variances to expected spend are identified and managed
Ensure payroll processes are maintained/ developed, improving reporting of contact centre complexities

The successful candidate will:

Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a minimum of 3 years PQE preferably within a retail/discounting environment
Have solid accounting experience and ability to handle large volumes of data and manage complex Excel models
Have previous experience of SAP (Desirable)
Have previous experience in the retail sector (Desirable)
