Description
This is a hands-on role and will play a key role in driving business performance forwards. The Senior commercial finance manager will be primarily responsible for:
- Managing the Commercial Finance team including 1-2-1s, coaching, hiring and performance management
- Production of monthly management accounts/leading the month-end process
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process
- Providing added value and commercial insight to the business
- Daily/weekly/monthly KPI reporting
- Owning Balance Sheet accounts and improving controls
- Identifying and implementing cost saving initiatives across finance and the wider business
Profile
The successful Senior commercial finance manager should have a background in commercial finance/FP&A and ideally retail/ecommerce. Specifically:
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with PQE 3 years+
- Experience leading the month-end process
- ERP systems experience ideal - SAP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills essential - ability to manage complex Excel models and large volumes of data
- Excellent communication & presentation skills with the ability to communicate at board level
- Strong team management/leadership skills
- Experience within Retail/FMCG/ecommerce or related ideal
- Hands-on mindset
