Job Description:We are currently recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors with strong behaviour management skills to work in various secondary schools across Leeds. As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be supervising classes and ensuring students stay on task with set work in the absence of their regular teacher. You'll have the chance to work across a range of subjects and year groups, developing your skills and experience in the education sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students during teacher absences, ensuring they stay engaged with assigned work
  • Implement strong behaviour management techniques to maintain a productive classroom environment
  • Work flexibly across a range of subjects within secondary schools
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and school staff
  • Adapt quickly to different school settings and be ready to make a positive impact

Requirements:

  • Experience working with secondary-aged students, ideally within a classroom setting
  • Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Confidence in covering a range of subjects, with support from teaching staff where needed
  • Reliable, flexible, and willing to work on a daily or long-term basis
