Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and assistance in the Design and Technology (DT) department.
Maintain and manage DT equipment and resources, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
Assist in the preparation and organisation of practical lessons, including setting up machinery and tools.
Offer guidance to students on the safe and effective use of DT equipment.
Support the teaching staff in delivering engaging and high-quality DT lessons.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the DT workshops.

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a DT Technician role or a similar technical support position is essential.
Strong knowledge of DT equipment, tools, and materials.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both staff and students.
