  • Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, design, and produce teaching materials and resources suitable for the age and ability of the students.
  • Deliver lessons that facilitate progression in student's learning and are tailored to the age and ability of the students.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Manage the classroom and teaching equipment to create a positive learning environment.
  • Attend meetings and carry out administrative tasks as required.
  • Provide leadership for students within a caring and secure environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the Principal, Senior Leadership Team, and other educational partners to promote and deliver the school's priorities and policies.
  • Engage in after-school support, pre-exam intervention sessions, and subject enrichment activities to enhance student learning.
  • Use performance data to inform teaching strategies and improve student outcomes.
  • Maintain effective partnerships with parents to support and improve student and community achievement.
