Description
- Develop and implement HSE strategies and action plans
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and industry HSE standards
- Oversee all audits and inspections to maintain accreditations and certifications
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in HSE performance
- Lead and manage the HSE team to achieve objectives
- Review and update HSE policies and procedures regularly
Profile
A successful HSQE Manager should have:
- Relevant qualifications in HSE - CMIOSH, Tech IOSH or similar is required
- Experience in the construction world or manufacturing building products is desirable
- Excellent knowledge of relevant legal and industry HSE standards
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in conducting audits and risk assessments
- Proven track record in developing and implementing HSE strategies
- Exceptional communication and training skills
