Our client is an ambitious and well-respected law firm, recognised for delivering exceptional commercial legal services to a diverse range of clients. These include individual entrepreneurs, family businesses, some of the UK’s most successful companies, and renowned brands. Our client is seeking a full-time Senior Claims Handler to join their busy team defending pre-litigation personal injury claims.Key Responsibilities as a Senior Claims Handler:

  • Deliver top-notch client service and build lasting relationships.
  • Negotiate on liability and quantum disputes to get the best outcomes.
  • Manage complex EL/PL claims, including high-value ones
  • Handle communications with opponents, experts, statutory bodies, and clients through calls, emails, and letters.
  • Keep all financial, reserve, and risk data for claims accurate and up-to-date.
  • Use of the Portal confidently and effectively.
  • Follow internal processes, client guidelines, and procedural rules.
  • Work on recovering client losses from third parties when possible.
  • Stay in the loop with industry trends, laws, and best practices.
  • Make sure all work meets SRA/Law Society standards.
  • Support and promote the firm’s equality and diversity values.

Experience and Skills required: Our client is looking for someone who:

  • Has 5+ years of experience in EL/PL claims handling.
  • Possesses strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • Is proficient with IT systems and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Can hit the ground running and work independently.
  • Demonstrates a professional, customer-focused approach to handling claims.
