Child Care Solicitor/Legal Executive Advocate – Bradford

As a key member of the child care law team, you will play a crucial role in advocating for children and families, providing expert legal representation in both public and private law cases. This role offers a diverse and engaging caseload, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in child care law.

Key Responsibilities:

? Manage a caseload of child care law cases, ensuring efficient and effective case progression? Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring clarity in complex legal matters? Advocate in court proceedings, including care proceedings and adoption cases? Draft and prepare legal documents, applications and court reports? Conduct legal research and stay up to date with child care law developments? Liaise with social workers, local authorities and other professionals involved in child protection cases? Maintain compliance with Children Panel rules and professional standards? Mentor and support junior team members? Contribute to business development by building strong client relationships

Requirements:

? Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive Advocate with proven experience in child care law? LAA Supervisor status (preferred but not essential)? Strong advocacy skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively in court? A client-focused approach, demonstrating compassion and excellent communication skills? Experience handling complex child care cases and liaising with local authorities
