Private Client Lawyer – Reputable Law Firm – Near BrightonA well-established and highly regarded law firm near Brighton is seeking a skilled Private Client Lawyer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with experience in private client matters to take the next step in their career within a supportive and reputable practice.The Role: The successful Private Client Lawyer will manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including but not limited to:
  • Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning
  • Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
  • Handling probate and the administration of estates
  • Providing guidance on trusts and inheritance tax planning
  • Advising clients on Court of Protection matters
This role sits within a large, well-established, and supportive private client team that has a strong reputation for excellence. The team works collaboratively, providing expert guidance to clients while fostering a culture of professional development and career growth.Candidate Requirements: The firm is open to considering candidates of all levels, ideally seeking a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive. However, experienced Paralegals or those with relevant fee-earning experience will also be considered. The ideal candidate will:
  • Have at least 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE) in private client law (although candidates with less experience but strong technical knowledge will be considered)
  • Be technically competent in handling a broad range of private client matters
  • Have excellent client care skills and the ability to build strong relationships
  • Be proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
