Inventory Manager

Location: Bradford Salary: £50,000 Summary: At Bis Henderson, we are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to join an established and growing distributor. This role focuses on managing our Client's inventory, improving stock turn, whilst ensuring customer orders are met, quickly, in line with SLAs. You will also manage operational performance and resolve stock related issues across their broad portfolio of products. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with experience using ERP systems to perform all inventory and sales order processing functions. Key Responsibilities:* Create our Client's supply chain strategy and optimum stock profile * Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure excellent stock availability in line with SLAs * Use their ERP system to forecast and target on-going stock level requirements * Manage the introduction of NPD from stock profile to warehouse allocation * Manage the reduction of aged stock and disposal of discontinued products * Input on all issues of receipting, stock management and stock accounting principles * Maintain supply chain inventory and records, resolving any issues that arise Experience:* Previous experience in a similar role focused around inventory and stock management * Experience using an ERP system, performing all inventory and sales order processing functions * Excellent understanding of logistics and warehouse management principles * Able to work well with internal and external stakeholders to manage information flow to aid effective decision making * Able to write SOPs to establish best practice regarding stock and inventory management
