Manufacturing Futures seek to appoint a Transport Manager with overall responsibility for a team of drivers, some fleet regulation and compliance, and overall logistics activity to ensure excellent customer service is delivered for all clients. Reporting into the Operations Director the appointed Transport Manager will objectively review and continually improve the whole transport operation, prediminatly own fleet with minimal outsourced solution when needed. It is important that you are comfortable in a lively environment with a quick pace and frequently changing priorities and that you can balance short term operational needs against achievement of longer term strategic objectives. The appointed Transport Manager will have good commercial experience alongside being a solid and experienced transport and logistics operator.
