Our West Yorkshire based client is a leading business specialising in supply chain solutions with a primary focus on the Far East region. With a strong reputation for reliability and innovation, we are looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator who can oversee the import and export function as well as ensuring compliance both UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:• Oversee and manage end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods across the Far East.• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, freight forwarders, and transportation partners in the region.• Monitor and analyse shipping schedules, customs regulations, and compliance requirements specific to the Far East.• Optimise supply chain efficiency by identifying areas for cost savings and implementing process improvements.• Collaborate with internal teams to align logistics operations with business objectives and customer requirements.• Prepare and present logistics performance reports to senior management.• Stay updated on industry trends and geopolitical developments in the Far East to anticipate potential challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:• Proven experience (3+ years) in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, with a focus on the Far East market.• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a related discipline (preferred).• Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs clearance, and trade compliance.• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.• Proficiency in logistics software and systems, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
