We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse to join the UK's most trusted Eye Care Specialist in their private hospital in Bradford. The Eye Hospital has state-of-the-art facilities and offer a full range of specialist eye care treatments, including laser eye surgery, lens replacement and cataract surgery, delivered by our fully NHS-trained ophthalmologists surgeons.

Hours: Minimum of three shifts each week, covering clinical hours from Monday to Saturday, 7am and 7pm.

Scrub Nurse Role:

You will be responsible for participating in all aspects of the Ophthalmic Surgical pathway at Optegra. It goes without saying that you’ll be passionate about provide excellent care to all patients. You will have specific responsibility for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team. This will also include peri-operative and post-operative care in the surgical and refractive suite of the hospital.

Who are we looking for?

- Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner-No restrictions on practice.

- Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions

- A qualification in Ophthalmology or Peri operative care

- Previous experience in an Ophthalmology Theatre, minimum of one year

- Have knowledge in private and operation settings.
