Position: CAM Programmer

Location: Bradford

Role Summary:

Recruit Engineering is seeking a skilled CAM Programmer for a client based in Bradford. This role offers a mix of shop floor and office responsibilities. We are looking for a candidate with strong CNC milling skills, proficiency in CAD/CAM software (preferably OneCNC), and experience in programming with Fanuc or Haas controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program machining tasks using CAD/CAM software.
  • Operate CNC milling machines to create precise parts according to specifications.
  • Optimise machine performance using G Codes.
  • Verify designs and tolerances to ensure high-quality output.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance production processes.
  • Earn 17 - 18 per hour, with optional overtime available during day shifts, based on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a CNC Miller in precision engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, with a preference for OneCNC.
  • Skilled in programming machines using G Codes.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
