Position: CAM Programmer
Location: Bradford
Role Summary:
Recruit Engineering is seeking a skilled CAM Programmer for a client based in Bradford. This role offers a mix of shop floor and office responsibilities. We are looking for a candidate with strong CNC milling skills, proficiency in CAD/CAM software (preferably OneCNC), and experience in programming with Fanuc or Haas controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program machining tasks using CAD/CAM software.
- Operate CNC milling machines to create precise parts according to specifications.
- Optimise machine performance using G Codes.
- Verify designs and tolerances to ensure high-quality output.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance production processes.
- Earn 17 - 18 per hour, with optional overtime available during day shifts, based on experience.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a CNC Miller in precision engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, with a preference for OneCNC.
- Skilled in programming machines using G Codes.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
