Our well established engineering client based in Bradford are currently recruiting for an overhead crane operator on a temporary to permanent contract. The successful candidate will be comfortable with working on a 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 basis and pass a drug and alcohol test before starting.
THE ROLE:
- Operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy steel lengths
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Load and unload deliveries using overhead crane
- Putting stock away
- Transporting goods throughout the workshop to required bay
THE CANDIDATE:
- Experience operating an overhead crane (company will provide inhouse license)
- Experience in the steel industry is highly advantageous
THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- 13.02 per hour
- 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 Rotating Monday to Friday
- Temporary to permanent contract
