We are seeking an ambitious Buyer to join our client, a leading manufacturing business working with key brands globally, based in their West Yorkshire office. You will join a dynamic Operations team and be pivotal in establishing a robust procurement function.

What you will be involved with as a Buyer:

* Become the cornerstone of our procurement strategy, purchasing packaging materials, consumables, and other critical supplies* Develop and implement streamlined procurement processes and policies* Manage and maintain our ERP system with precision and attention to detail* Build and nurture strategic supplier relationships through professional communication* Regularly review, evaluate, and tender supplier agreements to maximise profitability* Conduct market analysis and reporting to enhance company profitability and competitive positioning

What we are looking for in a Buyer:

* Qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferable* A minimum of 2+ years' experience in purchasing/buying is essential* Strong interest in starting or progressing CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification* Exceptional communication skills and a naturally commercial mindset* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
