Description
- Negotiate prices and place orders with suppliers.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance delivery processes and update systems.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through negotiation or process improvements.
- Maintain and update Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality and on-time delivery.
- Address supplier purchase orders and invoice issues.
- Assist the Sales team in reviewing supplier quotes for projects.
- Uphold ethical business practices and ensure integrity in all professional relationships.
Profile
A successful Buyer should have:
- Background in Direct Materials procurement for manufacturing.
- Knowledge of MRP systems.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work well with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
