The successful candidate will thrive in Bradford, carrying out a range of tasks including maintaining purchase ledger and preparing payments. Description

  • Accurately maintain the purchase ledger
  • Prepare and process payments
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Resolve queries relating to invoices and payments
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end accounts
  • Support the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks
  • Comply with all financial procedures and regulations
  • Contribute positively to the team and organisation

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger should have:

  • AAT qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
