About the Role:

Veritas Education is working closely with a fantastic partner school to find a passionate and dedicated Girls' PE Teacher for a full-time, long-term position. The successful candidate will be teaching PE across a range of year groups, encouraging students to reach their full potential and fostering a love for physical activity and healthy living.

This role is to start immediately or after the Easter break and will run until the end of the academic year, with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and dynamic PE lessons to girls across multiple year groups
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging active participation and enthusiasm for physical education
  • Support the development of students' physical, social, and emotional skills through sports and physical activities
  • Manage classroom behavior and provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff and contribute to the overall school community

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching PE to girls, ideally at secondary level
  • A passion for physical education and inspiring young people
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo an update)
