You will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3, ensuring students develop both knowledge and analytical skills. Essential Requirements

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons to Key Stage 3 students.
• Plan, prepare, and assess student's work in line with the curriculum.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
• Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Monitor and evaluate student's progress, providing timely feedback and support.
• Promote an understanding of environmental issues and global responsibility.
• Organise and supervise field trips and extra-curricular activities where required.
• Ensure all students feel valued and supported in their learning journey.
• Support students in developing skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and research.
• Attend and contribute to departmental meetings and training sessions.
