Are you a compassionate, patient, and empathetic individual with a passion for supporting students with Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join our schools in Bradford to work in Alternative Provision Schools to support and help deliver tailored education for students who may not thrive in mainstream settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and understanding for students with SEMH needs.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support each student's development.
  • Demonstrate patience and understanding in challenging situations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with students with SEMH needs in the UK.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
  • A proactive and resilient attitude.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
