1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School

The School and Role:

A primary School in the BD7 area of Bradford are looking to appoint a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a pupil on a 1-to-1 basis within Year 3 on a Full-Time basis. The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will be working with a pupil with Autism and challenging behaviour within year 3. Working with a pupil with Autism means that you will need some experience of working with Young adults or children with additional needs. This Full-Time role is long term and potentially permanent if successful.

Requirements:

The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will have;

  • A passion for working with children with additional needs
  • Experience of working with children and young adults with autism previously
  • Understanding of how to work with children with SEN whilst focusing on both there educational and additional needs.
  • A passion for the progress of children with SEN
  • An ability to work as part of a team
