We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educator with medical expertise to join our team at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Bradford. This role is ideal for someone with relevant medical experience and training, who is passionate about supporting pupils with varying and complex medical needs.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide emergency medical support to pupils.
• Gain and apply specialist medical knowledge through training.
• Support the Healthcare Supervisor in monitoring pupils’ medical needs.
• Manage medications, ensuring safe storage and accurate logs.
• Communicate with parents about their child’s health.
• Collaborate with class teachers to minimize the impact of medical interventions on learning.
• Maintain accurate records using paper and ICT.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, setting high expectations.
• Follow safe systems of work for moving and handling pupils.
• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
• Comply with health, safety, security, confidentiality, and data protection policies.
• Safeguard all pupils and promote their welfare by following child protection procedures.
