Overview:

Fantastic opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Engineer (electrical bias) who is looking to join an innovative company as the Lead Technician that has recently heavily invested in state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment involving high speed production machinery.

Role:

You will be responsible for:

  • Carry out pro-active and reactive maintenance activities across a wide variety of automated production equipment
  • Support capital projects to install and integrate new equipment as required
  • Identify and carry out continuous improvement projects
  • Liaise with production and engineering management to support departmental KPIs and ensure production targets are met
  • Plan and manage daily work activities and improvement projects

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of:

  • Fault finding both mechanical and electrical problems such as pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC (Mitsubishi and Siemens), inverters and drives
  • Good problem solving/contingency planning skills with ability to find quick, innovative and practical solutions
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload to ensure that timescales are met to agreed cost and quality requirements
  • Recognised electrical or mechanical qualifications
