Developing and implementing effective transport plans.
Managing logistics to ensure smooth operations.
Monitoring transport costs and efficiency.
Ensuring compliance with transport laws and regulations.
Managing relationships with transport service providers.
Deal with breakdowns, traffic delays and any accidents which may impact previously planned routes.
Analysing transport data to improve routes and efficiency.
Problem-solving for any issues or delays in transportation.

Profile

A successful Senior Transport Planner should have:

Experience in a transport planning or logistics role within the transport & distribution industry.
Excellent organisational and planning skills.
Proficiency in using logistic software.
A strong understanding of transport regulations and laws.
