MIG & TIG welder required in Bradford, flexible working hours on the shop floor - easily accessible form Halifax, Leeds and the M62

Up to 16 per hour dependant on experience - days based role - WITH OVERTIME AVAILABLE AT A PREMIUM

You will be supporting the Fabrication team leader in the daily operations of the fabrication department to ensure the on time delivery of parts to our internal customers.

Modern facility with on-site, one of the areas leading engineering companies supplying into a diverse range of industries, strong order with genuine growth plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Weld components and assemblies using MIG and TIG systems
  • Finish components to a high standard using air and hand tools
  • Operate plasma and manual cutting equipment
  • Accurately mark out by hand components for modification
  • Use hand and power tools in a safe and productive manner
  • Operate the MES system (after training given)

Employment & Educational Background

  • Strong background in steel fabrication
  • The ideal candidate would have minimum 2 year's experience with MIG and TIG welding
  • The ability to read and understand engineering drawings including standard welding symbols is essential
  • Familiarity with an ERP system and computers would be an advantage.
