Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, reliable, and proactive Geography Cover Supervisor to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the teaching of Geography across various year groups, covering for absent teachers, and helping students to stay on track with their studies.


Key Responsibilities:
Supervising and supporting Geography lessons in the absence of the regular teacher
Ensuring students stay engaged and on-task during lessons
Delivering pre-prepared work and helping students with queries
Promoting a positive learning environment and managing classroom behaviour
Providing feedback to teachers and supporting ongoing student progress
Assisting in the development and delivery of departmental activities when needed


Ideal Candidate:
A strong interest or background in Geography (Degree or equivalent preferred)
Experience working with young people in an educational setting
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to remain calm and focused
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for supporting student learning
