Prime Appointments are currently looking for a CNC Turner to work in Braintree for a world leading manufacturer of components.
Duties:
- Setting and operating CNC lathes
- Loading and running programmes through to prove out
- Producing first-off components
- Conducting in-process inspection, checking against drawings and specifications to ensure they are made accurately to the highest standards
- Early shift: Monday to Thursday 06.00 - 14.00, Friday 06.00 - 13.30
- Late shift: Monday to Thursday 14.00 - 22.00, Friday 13.30 - 21.00
To be considered for this exciting CNC Turner role, you will need the following experience:
- Experienced in setting and operating CNC lathes
- Capable of programming Fanuc CNC machines
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances
- Proficiency in a range of measuring equipment and inspection techniques
