Join a leading bespoke automation company as a Wireperson. This role is ideal for someone skilled in assembling and connecting wire components. You will work on various projects, ensuring high-quality standards in line with customer specifications.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Fit crimped and soldered connectors to motors, encoders, and cable assemblies according to customer drawings and schematic diagrams, adhering to company or other specified quality standards.
  • Use hand tools and automated crimp machines for precise assembly work.
  • Conduct inspections of crimps using a visual inspection system and test rigs to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Maintain tools and equipment to support efficient operations.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure availability of necessary materials.
  • Maintain the tidiness and safety of workshop areas.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as directed by the workshop supervisor.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in electronics wiring or in a similar role involving detailed electronic assembly.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and automated machinery for wire crimping and soldering.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematic diagrams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good organisational skills to manage stock and maintain workshop areas.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
