Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive HR professional to oversee personnel management, ensure compliance with company policies, and support business growth through effective HR practices. This role is vital in fostering a positive workplace culture, maintaining accurate employee records, and collaborating with management to improve processes.Key Responsibilities
  • Handle disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring fair and effective resolution.
  • Provide guidance on company policies, employment law, and HR best practices.
  • Oversee sickness and absence management, maintaining records and conducting return-to-work interviews.
  • Process payroll, manage pension submissions, and oversee employee benefits, including salary reviews and appraisals.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including liaising with agencies, screening candidates, and ensuring compliance.
  • Coordinate training and development programmes to support employee growth and CPD.
  • Manage company assets, including IT equipment, mobile phones, and company vehicles.
  • Support workplace health & safety initiatives, fire risk assessments, and first aid compliance.
  • Organise conferences, travel arrangements, and accommodation bookings for employees.
  • Maintain GDPR compliance in employee data handling and ensure accurate filing systems.
RequirementsEssential:
  • Proven HR experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge of employment law and best practices.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including SharePoint) and HR systems.
Desirable:
  • Experience in training coordination and performance management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with management to drive company improvements.
Working Hours
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (45-minute lunch break)
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Working on site with flexibility for home working with certain projects.
