Operations Project Manager – Purpose of the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our busy Operations Team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Taking the lead on a variety of projects across the Service, you will support their development from design to implementation, enabling the delivery of service reviews and business plans.

Operations Project Manager – Key Responsibilities:

- Research, review, interpret and challenge current processes to identify improvements

- Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand best practices, legislation and industry techniques

- Identify new partnership opportunities to enhance project outcomes

- Develop, monitor and analyse project reviews and status

- Adjust project scope, schedule or budget when necessary

- Prepare and present relevant reports

- Ensure effective risk management, value for money, and governance compliance throughout

- Engage with stakeholders to foster a cross-departmental approach

Operations Project Manager – About You:

- Proven experience in developing and implementing projects, reviews and service improvements, ideally in local government

- Degree qualified in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is highly desirable

- Extensive knowledge of project oversight and delivery

- Excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills

- Proven ability to build strong relationships
