Quality Inspector - Manufacturing - Braintree Area - Up to 30,000

We are working with a leading manufacturing company in Braintree to recruit a Quality Inspector to join their growing team. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a passion for Quality Assurance, and enjoy working in a high-mix environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

The Role:

As a Quality Inspector, you will provide essential quality control support to the production team.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting turned, ground, and assembled components using precision measuring tools
  • Conducting in-process and final inspections, maintaining accurate records
  • Carrying out internal audits and calibration activities
  • Assisting in improving machining process capabilities
  • Supporting corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a Quality Inspector or similar role
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings and dimensional measurement
  • Experience using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • A Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or HNC in Engineering (desirable)
  • Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and quality standards
