Your new companyYou will be working for a principal contractor on their industrial project based near Thetford. The project consists of an extension to a live plant environment and is a 9-12 month fixed term contract.Your new roleWe are looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Manager with a strong background in industrial construction. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all on-site activities, including subcontractors and trades.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports.
  • Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
  • Manage site logistics, including materials and equipment.
  • Conduct site meetings and briefings.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in site management, specifically in industrial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
