Role Overview:
As an IT Systems Officer, you’ll be working alongside the Chief IT Systems Officer to support, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems, ensuring everything runs seamlessly. You’ll be instrumental in system monitoring, providing tech support, and collaborating on system upgrades.
What You’ll Do:
- System Support & Troubleshooting: Help ensure minimal disruptions to daily operations by resolving IT system issues quickly.
- Technical Assistance: Provide on-demand support to staff on hardware, software, and network problems.
- Software & Hardware Maintenance: Help maintain up-to-date systems by managing installations, configurations, and upgrades.
- Backup & Recovery: Assist in maintaining system backups and ensuring data security.
- Collaboration & Training: Work with other departments and train staff on new systems to maximize efficiency.
- Security: Assist in maintaining and enforcing IT security and data protection protocols.
Skills & Experience:
- Must-Have: Strong IT hardware, networking, and phone system knowledge
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft apps (Excel VBA, Access)
- Hands-on experience with IT installations, networking, and WiFi setups
- Experience in IT support or systems roles
- Desirable: Network administration, security practices, FMCG manufacturing processes, and relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate)
