Key Stage 1 Teacher  – Tewkesbury

Are you an experienced Primary Teacher looking for a long-term role in a Primary School with an Ofsted GOOD rating? We are seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join a welcoming school in Tewkesbury. This role is ideal for a strong Primary Teacher who excels in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and has excellent behaviour management skills. This is a long-term position starting after half-term until the end of July, working Wednesday to Friday with full teaching responsibilities.

Job Role:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons following the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 (KS1).
  • Full Class Teacher responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessments.
  • Create a positive learning environment, promoting excellent behaviour management strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to support pupil progress and development.
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of Year 1 and Year 2 pupils.
  • Ensure high standards of teaching and learning within the Primary School setting.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential.
  • Proven experience as a Primary Teacher in a Primary School setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills with excellent behaviour management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 1 (KS1) framework.
  • Ability to engage and inspire young learners.
  • This role is not open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
