CAD Designer

CAD Designer Permanent Full-TimeSalary - Circa £42,000 DOE Location - Hybrid, LondonWe're supporting a prestigious luxury designer and maker of exquisite jewellery and retail products, specialising in gold, silver, and leather items. Their brand is recognised globally and has a substantial client base, ranging from heads of state to royalty.Following significant success within the company, they are now looking to expand their creative design team and are seeking a motivated and creative CAD Designer to join their experienced team of professionals.Responsibilities, but are not limited to

• Design of CAD drawings/models in Rhino/MatrixGold for client commissions, stock manufacturing, prototype and product development across their silver, jewellery and leather categories
• 3D printing and rapid prototyping of their designs and product development projects
• Creating accurate technical drawings for the jewellery and silver workshops
• Liaising with Category designers and Workshop Manager to ensure their 3D manufacturing processes are achievable and efficient
• Preparing CAD files in Rhino/MatrixGold for casting
• Assisting the SCC category & Export Director with creating 3D models in Rhino/MatrixGold and CAD visuals for client presentations
• Maintaining 3D printing machines to ensure a clean, safe and efficient workshop
• Research of new technology with the aim of integrating this into their current set up

Experiences required

• 5 years' experience or greater using Rhino
• 5 years' professional jewellery design/trade experience
• Working knowledge or experience using MatrixGold is advantageous
• Experience working with 3D printing machines is advantageous
• Experience working with casting companies is advantageous
