A well established, trustworthy & reliable High Street retailer who've been around for decades and are still delivering new & fashion forward ranges each season that their customers love. They're looking to grow their merchandising teams, so are looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to come and get into the detail. THE ROLE:

  • Ability and proven track record of trading sub-categories and best selling lines
  • Can recognise areas of risk, whilst providing solutions to your Merchandiser
  • Can maintain the delivery schedule & keep all deliveries on track
  • Ability to pull all reporting documents for trade, sign off and strategy meetings
  • Regularly reviewing and building history reports
  • Ability to track and trade stock between stores and online
  • Will support Buying team with the critical path on a weekly, if not daily basis
  • Experienced with daily sales, size curves, stock replenishment, store performance, and general cover
  • Ability to analyse and propose transfers, rebuys, and phasing
  • Ability to plan and manage linecards
  • Oversee markdown and promotions
  • Support buyers and wider team on cost price negotiations
  • Support wider team with supplier liaising around deliveries and leadtimes

YOU WILL BE:

  • An experienced MAA or Assistant Merchandiser already
  • Responsible for own sub-categories; Desired, but not essential
  • Have mentored or managed MAA's
  • Personable & approachable
  • Flexible
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Love the UK highstreet, retail & fashion
