Sales Administrator

Purpose of the RoleYou’ll play a crucial part in supporting the sales team and wider UK Sales Admin network, handling a wide variety of administrative tasks—processing sales orders, managing customer queries, and keeping systems and records accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and greet office visitors professionally
  • Receive and dispatch deliveries
  • Package and ship items via courier to various destinations
  • Respond to customer enquiries, check stock availability, and raise quotations
  • Process purchase orders and liaise with suppliers
  • Raise and follow through sales orders using SAP
  • Maintain accurate records and update systems such as eVE
  • Assist with invoicing queries and stocktaking
  • Order office supplies and manage general office tasks
  • Support the UK Sales Admin team during staff absence (holidays/sickness)
  • Travel occasionally to other offices for training or coverage as needed
  • Always contribute positively to the team's performance targets

Essential:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
  • Previous experience in an administrative support role
  • Experience working with confidential data
  • Self-motivated and a strong team player

Desirable:

  • Experience with SAP and advanced Excel functions
  • Background in a sales or commercial environment
  • GCSE Grade 5 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
