A multi-sector engineering and research and development business is seeking a Project Engineer (Marine) to join their Marine Engineering team based in Essex. The Role 

The Project Engineer for Marine will provide support to projects including management of subcontract design activity, control of Bills of Materials and assisting with the design and analysis of relevant systems.

The Project Engineer will support systems integration and work to provide solutions for in-field failures, identifying and troubleshooting technical issues alongside supporting the introduction of new products and projects.

You will play an active role in data collection and validation activities to ensure products and projects meet the required regulatory requirements and industry standards. 

 

The Person 

The successful candidate for the role of Project Engineer (Marine) will possess a degree level (or equivalent) and relevant experience in an industrial setting supporting marine (or near neighbour) engineering projects.

The Project Engineer will be conversant with engineering design protocols, be aware of industry standard and regulatory requirements when working with engines and ideally some knowledge of hydrogen safety protocols.

The Project Engineer will be familiar with engineering software tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and CAD (Catia/SolidWorks packages. You will have a career passion for decarbonization and be able to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
