Family Lawyer

JS Legal Recruitment Ltd are excited to be working with a leading regional Legal 500 law firm based in Essex. Our client is looking to recruit a talented ambitious Family Lawyer, to join there highly successful Private Family team on a full -time permanent basis. The team has an excellent reputation in the Essex market, and work for clients both nationally and internationally .

The role will involve dealing with a full and mixed caseload of private family matters, you will be responsible for running and managing your own cases with appropriate supervision.

The role

  • Divorce/ Dissolution of Civil Partnership
  • Financial settlements and claims following the breakdown of a relationship
  • Enforcement of Financial Orders
  • Financial claims on behalf of a child
  • Applications for Parental Responsibility
  • Domestic abuse and family law injunctions
  • Separation Agreements
  • Pre or Post Nuptial Agreements
  • Cohabitation Agreements
  • Declarations of Trust and Agreements regarding how a property/ asset is owned

The Candidate

  • An ambitious Family Lawyer or Legal Executive with at least 2 years PQE
  • Ability to develop relationships with clients
  • Ability to network and business development to maintain and develop work from both existing and potential clients
