Job Title: Welder / Fabricator
Location: West Horndon
Salary: £140 - £150 per day
Job Type: Full time permanent - Monday to Friday is 7am to 4pm
About Us:
Blackburn & Co Ltd are a metal fabrication company, based in Essex, specialising in manufacturing and installation of all mild steel metalwork, such as staircases, handrails, balustrades, gates and bespoke fabrications.
About the role:
We are looking for a fabricator / welder who will work both in our workshop, based in West Horndon, Essex and onsite.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Predominantly welding - gaining and maintaining the required welding codes
- You will be completing tasks related to architectural steelwork
- Understanding information prescribed within Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS)
- Carrying out all tasks to safety, quality and efficiency standards
- Non welding activities eg forming, grinding, operating and fabricating
About you:
- Must have experience in reading drawings, fabrication and site work in various aspects of metalwork, nging from balustrade, staircases to structural steelwork.
- Must have a CSCS card
- Must have their own welding mask and general hand tools.
- A self-motivated individual
- Excellent communication skills
