Our client is a day and boarding preparatory school for boys and girls in the village of Brettenham, Suffolk. Founded in 1862, the school currently accommodates about 120 boys and 70 girls between the ages of 2 and 13 years.
They are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Estate Assistant to support the aims and objectives of the School in the delivery of a safe, pleasant and welcoming teaching and learning environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. The role will require both indoor and outdoor working.
The successful candidate is likely to have:
·Ability to work effectively both in collaboration with other individuals &
·teams and also on own initiative
·Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to relate to young people,
·parents, colleagues and external agencies
·Excellent organisational skills / Time management / Ability to prioritise and
·organise own workload / able to work to deadlines
·Basic IT skills, sufficient to maintain records send and receive messages e.g.,
·working knowledge of Microsoft office Excel, Word, Outlook email (or
·prepared to train)
·Undertake general site maintenance including decoration
