Job OverviewRecruit 121 are working with a fast-growing, award-winning business in Bridgend, offering a unique opportunity for a part qualified / qualified Financial Accountant to develop expertise in E-commerce Accounting based in Bridgend. This role is on site 5 days a week and they are looking for someone eager to grow with them, gain specialist knowledge, and make a real impact on the business. The successful candidate will have a strong financial accounts background but be offered training in the specialist area of E-Commerce Accounting.

Sales & Expense Reconciliation - Ensure accuracy by reconciling transactions across web and multiple e-commerce platforms.Bank Reconciliation - Match daily, weekly, and bi-weekly disbursements to the bank.VAT Compliance - Check and submit VAT returns across multiple countries via our Amazon VAT service provider (monthly & quarterly).Platform Support - Assist the Platforms Department in submitting verification information for new and updated sales channels.Financial Reporting - Provide insights into sales, costs, margins, and key financial performance indicators.

Person Spec

What We’re Looking For:

P/Q or Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical accounting skills.Experience in reconciliations, VAT returns, and reporting.Interest in e-commerce and a willingness to develop expertise in this area.Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving business.
