Management Accountant - Manufacturing Sector

About the Company:A leading and dynamic player within the manufacturing sector, committed to delivering high-quality products while driving operational excellence. With continued growth, the company is looking to strengthen its finance team with the addition of a skilled and experienced Management Accountant.
Role Overview:As the Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making within a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with senior management, providing insights and analysis to drive profitability, cost efficiency, and overall financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts for the manufacturing division.
- Provide financial analysis to help optimise production costs and improve profitability.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure financial targets are met.
- Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct cost analysis for products, production processes, and inventory management.
- Support the implementation and review of internal controls, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and financial improvements.
- Assist in financial reporting for audits and statutory requirements.
- Provide advice and support to non-financial departments on financial matters.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent (or working towards).
- Proven experience in a similar management accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, product costing, and inventory management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (experience with ERP systems is an advantage).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
