Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including food preparation, menu planning, and team management.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and a commitment to maintaining high food safety standards.
Duties: - Plan and develop menus in collaboration with the management team - Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and in accordance with food safety regulations -
Manage inventory and control costs to meet budgetary guidelines - Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations -
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team of kitchen staff -
- Culinary expertise with a creative flair for menu development
- Proficient in all aspects of food preparation techniques -
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure consistent quality in every dish Requirements: -
Previous experience as a Head Chef or similar role in the hospitality or restaurant industry -
Formal culinary training or degree is preferred, but not required -
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed I
